The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) Distributed relief assistance to displaced families the complexes of the prophet Sheat and Al-Zafaraniyah northern of Baghdad, in collaboration with the US Joy Foundation and Iraqi Airways.
The Assistant Secretary General for IRCS Mr.Mohammed Al-Khuzai said that “when IRCS launched Emergency Appeal for its partners in the International Movement, International Federation (IFRC) and the National Societies (NS) in order to cover the needs of the displaced people, then, IRCS received several food aids and relief assistance which has been distributed to the displaced families”. Al-Khuzai also added “the distribution included more than 200 displaced families in prophet Sheat complex and Al-Zafaraniyah”
In addition to what has been mentioned above, IRCS is still ongoing in distributing food and relief assistance to the displaced families in collaboration with International Partners in the humanitarian work.
