The Iraqi Red Crescent’s teams continue to provide humanitarian relief and food assistance to the displaced families from Anbar governorate to various Iraqi governorates. As the cadre of the Iraqi Red Crescent/Diwaniyah branch distributed relief and healthy materials for more than 1250 displaced people from Anbar who are mostly living in mosques at the governorate despite the fact that the governorate has more than (18.000) displaced from the governorates of (Nineveh, Salahuddin and Diyala) since the beginning of the Mosul’s events.
In the same regard, the Iraqi Red Crescent’s teams in Babylon governorate distributed relief and health materials for more than 300 displaced people who have been sheltered in Musaiab district northern of Babylon. As most of the displaced people lived in mosques and schools, while the governorate has previously more than (50) thousand displaced people since the beginning of Mosul’s events, till now, they are distributed in various towns of the of Babylon governorate.
It is worthy to be mentioned that the Iraqi Red Crescent is still ongoing in the operations of distributing humanitarian assistance to the displaced families, despite its limited possibilities and increasing the number of those families due to security situation in Iraq.
