Food assistance has been distributed to vulnerable families by IRCS / Thiqar branch in Al – Nasiria and Suq Al – Shyookh districts , the number of distributed food parcels reached ( 568 ) parcel . In addition to distribution , the branch staff has delivered lectures to identify IRCS and its humanitarian role this comes as procedure to implement the crescent day program in districts . The lectures have been delivered to Shabab Al – Ta’wn team ( cooperation youth team ) , Civil Defense directorate , Water directorate in Suq Al – Shyookh district , Al – Zura’a football team in Refa’e district ( Al – Fajer sub district ) , Al – Mhanish football team in Al –Shatra district , Rwad team , and public training centre in Shatra bureau , the number of beneficiaries reached ( 200 ) person whereas the number of lectures reached ( 275 ) lecture . The branch also organized a celebration on the occasion of International Day of youth at the hall of Al – A’dad Wa Al – Tadreeb ( preparation and training ) . The celebration has been attended by number of responsible and and mangers of some directorates in Thiqar . Gifts have been also distributed to volunteers who reached ( 40 ) volunteer .
In addition to the mentioned above activities , the branch also implements number of health activities like ; first aid workshop to volunteers in Al- Jebiysh bureau and it include theoretical and practical lectures on first aid principles ,the number of beneficiaries reached ( 15 ) .
