IRCS Announced that the number of displaced families from the province of Nineveh has increased to more than one and eighty thousand families and Assistant Secretary General Mohammed Alkhozai said ” teams Red Crescent recorded displace of more than eighty one thousand families from different regions of the province of Nineveh to a number of northern provinces and some southern provinces He pointed out that the number of displaced families to the three region provinces reached more than 63 thousand families spread over various regions of April, Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah and distribute of more than 11 thousand families on the regions of Sinjar and Hamdaniya and Nineveh Plain and Tuz Khurmatu and distribute (6) thousand families on the provinces of Diyala and Wasit, Najaf and Diwaniyah, Maysan, noting that the Iraqi Red Crescent distributed food aid and some relief for more than forty thousand displaced families in different areas of displacement also able to provide drinking water to more than thirty thousand families .

IRCS teams were also able to enterd five convoys carrying food and relief, flour and fuel (cooking gas) to a large number of families displaced . Al Khozai clarify that the staffs of the Iraqi Red Crescent is still ongoing in the provision of food aid and relief and health and is now campaigning relief and wide to help these families that live in harsh humanitarian conditions.
