The Iraqi Red Crescent Society has distributed more than 7,500 meals a day to displaced families in camps and reception centers for displaced people in Saladin center.
Haider Kasim, IRCS relief official, ” IRCS teams, who are deployed in the camps of Hamam Al-alil and the reception centers for displaced people, have distributed daily more than 7,500 fast food meals to displaced families since the beginning of Eid al-Fitr until now.”
“The relief teams have received the families at the reception centers, distributing the food and water, and then taking the families to the camps for shelter,” he said
Haider added, “The medical teams of IRCS have received in their medical centers in the camps more than (95) conditions and some critical cases have been transferred to Aspin hospital.”
It is worth to mention that IRCS teams are preparing to enter the old city neighborhoods of Mosul to aid the affected families in those neighborhoods and to provide humanitarian assistance inside the old city.
