The Iraqi Red Crescent Society(IRCS) has distributed more than 15,000 hot food meal for the camps and the reception centers of the displaced in the western center of Salah Aldeen governorate.
The Head of relief team of Salah Aldeen center Mr.Haider Qassim said that the IRCS teams who are deployed in the camps of Hamam Al-Alil, Madraj camp, Tel Sebat, the reception center of Acrab checkpoint and Mushefara in Badosh have distributed every day more than 15,000 hot food meal.
Qassim added that the IRCS`s relief teams have provided the camps and the reception centers with 30,000 a loaf of bread distributed every day for the families and each family has ten pieces of bread which is considered as a basic material for the displaced families.
Qassim also added” the IRCS teams in the western center of Salah Aldeen are entering every day the right side areas and distributed food meals and relief materials, in addition to provide psychosocial and health support for the families in their areas, also transport the cases that needs surgical intervention to a nearest medical center whether in the camps or in the reception centers of the displaced people”.
It is worthy to be mentioned that the IRCS teams are still continuing to distribute relief and food assistance for the displaced families and the families who stayed in the liberated areas in collaboration with the partners in International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent.
