After the rain and floods which overcome all of the Iraqi governorates, especially in Al-Muthanna. IRCS provide food and relief assistant to affected people by heavy rains and floods in Al-Muthanna governorate, where Al-muthanna Branch of IRCS has prepared emergency Team to be ready in dealing with rains and floods, it was also pre-processing warehouse with strategic stocks are ( food baskets, relief item and tents) in anticipation for any emergency state.

At the beginning of rains and floods , IRCS starting in providing services to the affected areas from rains and floods in by distribution relief assistant including ( thermos, Jerry can, ,kichen set, stove & lantern ) in Al-muthanna governorate . Iraqi Red Crescent Society covered (3500 affected family with relief assistant and (370) affected family with food packets at the same time IRCS has been erected (50) tent for the familie’s homes were affected due to the rains and floods in different which invade al-muthanna governorate in different areas like ( Al-Salman , Al-khdher, Al-samawa districts , and Al-Najmi, Al-majd, and Al-mamlaha sub-districts). IRCS staff is continuing to providing the humanitarian assistants to the affected people until the end of rains and floods.
