Iraqi Red Crescent Society announced that hosting the Tenth Regional Conference of the National Societies of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in the Middle East and North Africa in mid-2015. The conference will discuss the overall effectiveness of the humanitarian challenges associations in humanitarian activities in the region, and to develop ways to develop joint humanitarian work . The Development Committee met in Geneva under the presidency of the Iranian Red Crescent society and the membership of the Iraqi Red Crescent society and, the Saudi Red Crescent society , Tunisian and Jordanian Red Crescent societies and the administration  of the Middle East and North Africa office of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
