The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has received a mobile medical unit donated by Chinese Red Cross for Iraq.
The IRCS has reported in a statement that a team from the program of Chinese Red Cross have granted a multi-functional mobile medical unit to the IRCS in Basrah city, adding to train volunteers from the IRCS on how to use this unit.
The statement has clarified that the above-mentioned unit consists of two medical buses, two ambulances and a number of medical tents that are disassembled, also provided with x-ray devices, ultrasound waves, pacemaker devices, telemedicine systems, and other functions, This medical unit can provide for the local residents with comprehensive health services such as basic medical treatment, surgery, examination, and medical transportation.
