The Iraqi Red Crescent Society(IRCS) has implemented the program of (Youth and Peace) in Baghdad and other governorates, and more than 7000 people have benefited from this program including the youth, athletes and the displaced families.
The IRCS teams have provided their own programs for the youth and volunteers through focusing on the idea of peace and peaceful coexistence in the work of activities and developing skills through merging them in workshops and courses in order to spread the culture of law, emigration, voluntary, investing the youth energy, attracting the volunteers and raise the awareness of the community.
The lectures have dealt with social phenomenon like, ( The illegal youth migration, school dropout, child labor, internet addiction, the misuse of social networking sites, the addition of smoking and drugs, violence against children, the increasing of early divorce, suicide and the community diseases), adding to deliver lectures about the projects of human and youth development and spread the culture of voluntary and how to make decisions.
