Starting from the goals of the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in the continuous development for the skills and the abilities of its volunteers in order to improve the health work, the IRCS has organized in coordination with Danish Red Cross training workshops to develop the health skills for the staff and volunteers of the health programs and psychosocial support in the Headquarters of the IRCS and its branches, the number of the participants has reached 28 people.
” The evaluation, monitoring, and preparing reports process is the measure of the success of a project or program in reaching the goals that were planned for and determine the problems and obstacles that are likely to happen during the work of the project in order to solve the problems quickly and prevent its occurrence in the future ” , said Dr. Ali Majeed the Manager of the Health department in the IRCS.
”In this training, 28 volunteers from the IRCS were trained and prepared to include the governorates of( Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Dohuk, Nineveh, Baghdad, Diyala, Anbar, Salah al-Din and Kirkuk) in order to follow up and evaluate the current and future health projects and programs and prepare the monitoring reports during the work programs in the field to provide the best health services and psychosocial support during natural and natural disasters”, Dr. Ali added.
Iraqi Red Crescent Society Is an independent national humanitarian, society whose works to reduce the suffering of people without discrimination, in the time of peace and war, and during the natural and non- natural disasters. IRCS is one of the most effective societies within the International movement of the Red Crescent and Red Cross.
