The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) / Karbala branch has organized blood donation campaign for the students of Karbala university, the campaign has covered the students of college of banking sciences and the teaching staff in the university, in order to supply the blood bank and provide it with the necessary blood to aid the injured displaced in the clash areas and treat the patients especially those who under the surgical operations and thalassemia patients .
Over 40 blood bottle has been collected from different varieties during the campaign which is the second campaign that has been organized by the IRCS in the colleges and institutes of Karbala universities .
The IRCS is continuously seeking to organize blood donation campaigns through its health programs in all the IRCS`s branches, in order to cover the urgent need for blood as a result of the security situation which the country is facing during this period .
