The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has organized awareness campaigns from war remnants in Anbar governorate.
The IRCS has reported in a statement that the IRCS`s teams in Anbar governorate have implemented an awareness campaign from the risk of war remnants through delivering awareness lectures from war remnants and mines in the remote and rural areas because it contains old military vehicles and a lot of destroyed buildings in the areas of conflict that might contain war remnants remains under the ruins with the return of the people to their home areas near to the places of war remnants in the governorate.
The statement has added that the above-mentioned campaign has covered a number of rural areas in Anbar governorate in order to spread the awareness from war remnants risks and mines and the necessity to report about the places of war remnants by providing an illustrative display  about its forms, kinds, labels and how to deal with it, in order to promote the cultural awareness and guide the citizens to stay away from the places that contains war remnants in order to reduce its risks and raise their security behavior.
