Iraqi Red Crescent: Increasing in the number of displaced to more than 5500 displaced after six days on the start of the right side operations of Mosul City .

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the increasing in the number of displaced from different areas of the right coast of Mosul city to more than 5500 displaced, they have been sheltered in Qayarah and Erbil camps , after the security forces have provided safe passages for the displaced people .
The IRCS has reported “ The IRCS teams at Jada camp have received more than five thousand displaced from the areas of ( Al-Ubor neighborhood, Al-Mumin, Al-Amel, Al-Kawar neighborhoods and Mahlabia district ), and all these neighborhoods are located at the right side of Mosul city since the start of the operations till now’’ .
The statement has added that the relief teams have sheltered the displaced at Jada camp and they have distributed ready food meals covered all of them, adding to distribute food parcel and relief materials, as well as providing some special needs for women and children, while the IRCS`s health teams have provided first aid and psychosocial support for more than 650 displaced, in order to make the families settle in the camps and follow the preventive methods to reduce the communicable diseases through raising awareness.
In the same context, the IRCS teams in Erbil center have received 522 displaced from the right side areas of Mosul city, they have been sheltered at Khazer camp which shelters more than 29 thousand displaced so far .
The relief teams have distributed more than 2000 ready food meal, 1000 food parcel and relief materials, adding to treat more than 1200 people in the IRCS`s field hospital .
