The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS)  has distributed food and relief aid to more than 50 poor families especially the handicapped who are living in the slum districts of Maysan governorate.
The IRCS`s teams have distributed food parcels and household items used by families in their daily needs, adding to distribute oil heaters to 55 poor families who are living in the slums of Maysan governorate, the teams have also conducted an assessment to include the largest number of poor families with humanitarian aid.
The IRCS is seeking to alleviate the suffering of the most vulnerable categories in the community in order to overcome the challenges of the difficult economic conditions that they live.
