The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) / Baghdad branch has completed its preparations to provide first aid and medical services for visitors in the occasion of Imam Kadhim visit (peace be upon him).
The IRCS / Baghdad Branch has completed all preparations to provide services to the visitors and installed 25 permanent medical detachments and deployed 70 teams who are spread inside and outside the city of Kadhimiya, these teams are equipped with first aid equipment, medical treatments, and mineral water, more than 500 volunteers and members from the IRCS will participate in the visit, they are well trained on providing first aid, also they will be supported by 13 branches from different governorates to provide services to visitors. These events are seen annually with the influx of millions of visitors.

The IRCS has deployed 20 ambulances distributed at the entrances and exits of Kadhimiya to transfer emergency cases to the nearest hospital.
