The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has completed the installation and operating the water purification units in a number of schools in Mosul.
The IRCS has reported in a statement that its teams have installed and operated three units in cooperation with the partners in the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent in order to purify water in three schools which works in the system of double time in the city of Mosul in a capacity of 25 liters per hour, they have also equipped it with refrigerators and tanks in order to provide the purified water for students in the above-mentioned schools that suffer from the lack of many services such as provide the healthy water, the number of beneficiaries has reached more than 2000 people.
The IRCS`s teams have also installed RO water purification unit in the general hospital of Mosul city in a capacity of 10,000 liters per hour, equipped with a 2000 liter tank in order to provide the purified water for the dialysis center, adding to train a specialized team to ensure that the unit is fully operational, the work is going on and in advanced stages of achievement.
