The Iraqi Red Crescent Society(IRCS) has distributed cash amounts provided by German Red Cross for the displaced families from Mosul to Duhok governorate.
The IRCS has reported in a statement that the IRCS`s teams in Duhok have cooperated with German Red Cross in distributing cash amounts for more than 550 displaced families from Mosul who are living in the areas of ( Chamanki, Kani Mansi, Shandokha), and the families who are living in the center of the governorate, they have distributed 200 dollars for every displaced family.
The cash distribution process was conducted according to preliminary assessments carried out by the teams of the IRCS in order to review the conditions of the families and register their needs to provide it to them.
The IRCS is continuing to provide support for the displaced families in collaboration with its partners in the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent in order to help them to overcome the difficult challenges due to their forced displacement from their areas.
