As a part of a project called “Union through the power of football,” which aims to help women who make a living and those who are poor in society learn how to sew and detail things.
During the five-day training, twenty trainees gained theoretical and practical instruction in the arts of detail and tailoring. The Red Crescent gave the participants sewing machines and its needed materials as a gift so they could begin their own projects.
It’s worth noting that this project, which is supported by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, strives to strengthen women’s capacities and provide job chances for needy women who want to start their own businesses.
