The Iraqi Red Crescent Society has completed the deployment and installation of six guidance centers for the lost and missing, as three of them were installed in the center of Karbala governorate and other three centers were dispatched on the main axes leading to the governorate from the sides of Baghdad, Babil, and Najaf, in order to facilitate finding children and the elderly if they were lost during the crowds, as the cases of missing and lost are of great urgency.
These centers offer a variety of services, including free internal and international lines of communication, the distribution of identification cards and bracelets for children containing their name, governorate, and phone number, and the installation of loudspeakers used to call for reported missing persons.
More than (120) incidents of loss were discovered on the external and interior roadways, and more than (8,900) identification cards and wristbands were provided to the children of the pilgrims .
