Iraqi Red Crescent Society / Diyala Branch has announced for the distribution of food aid and relief  to the displaced families as a result of  violence in some of areas, where the branch staff distributed  (2000) food parcels to displaced families in some  of villages in Khanaqin district / Kara Tepe area , the distribution comes after conducting a questionnaire for the preparation of the displaced families in Khanaqin from the staff of   Khanaqin Office, mentions that the number of displaced families are still on the rise with the increasing humanitarian needs, which has caused worsening a humanitarian crisis, which influenced directly on the lives of the displaced families and IRCS was hurry  to present the humanitarian aid to the displaced families since the beginning of the crisis,  and it should be noted that the Diyala branch had been distributed (4761) food parcels , (2500) a hot meals and (400) dry food to the  displaced families in camps for the displaced from the districts of Diyala governorate.
