The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the distribution of 1,000 food parcels to displaced families in some different regions of Erbil in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC). As the IRCS’s teams distributed 300 food parcels to displaced families in Shaqlawa area, and other 300 food parcels were distributed to displaced families in Enkawa area, adding to 400 food parcels in Soran district, most of the displaced families are from Nineveh and Anbar governorates.
IRCS’s teams are continuing in distributing humanitarian assistance to the displaced families allover Iraqi governorates. And in the same context, the manager of Logistic and Relief/IFRC Mr.Ramadhan Michael has praised the significant role of IRCS to help the displaced people and Syrians refugees in all the governorates, he adds that there is a joint coordination between the IFRC and the IRCS to distribute (1000) food parcels to displaced families in the regions of Erbil.

IRCS is one of the most effective societies within the International movement of the Red Crescent and Red Cross.
