2000 displaced people flee from villages eastern of Mosul to Al-khazer and Zulaykan camps and our relief teams mobilizes their efforts to relief them

The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the displacement of (2000) person from villages eastern of Mosul to Al_khazer camp north of Mosul and Zulaykan camp located in Duhok governorate.
The IRCS has also said “Our relief teams has received (2000) displaced people from villages eastern of Mosul, who most of them from displaced families whom has been sheltered in Al-Khazer and Zulaykan camps. The statement has clarified that the IRCS has distributed fast food meals and relief materials, adding to provide more than (70)child with children milk, as the IRCS psychosocial support teams have organized psychosocial support sessions for displaced families and children to alleviate their suffering and the way to adapt them with the situations of the camp”.
Murad,one of the displaced families, has said “we waited the city to be liberated, fleeing and escaping from the violence, and we walked(by feet) without water or food just to look for a safe place to stay in, the children also were tired having some injuries because of walking ,but thanks for the IRCS teams and some organization to receive us and having us at Al_khazer camp, they also provided us with food, water and blanket”
While Um Luai has said “the most things that we suffered from during fleeing was the difficult unpaved ways and the shortage in the services and water, besides I am suffering from chronic blood pressure (BP), and I didn’t have enough medicine adding to the fear which we suffered during the last days and the difficulty of the living .Truly I am grateful the organization that helped us especially the IRCS which provide us with food assistance, shelter and treatment.”
Also one of the witnesses from displaced families has said “There are a large number of families who lives in very difficult humanitarian situation who couldn’t flee ,so the IRCS teams has mobilized its relief resources to receive the families that expected to be displaced in the next few d
