The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has recorded the displacement of (2079) displaced people from various villages of Nineveh governorate since the beginning of the events in it on 17/10 till now .
The IRCS has said ‘’ the last statistic recorded by the IRCS teams since the events of Nineveh till now has reached (2079) displaced from the districts and areas of Nineveh governorate consist of (416) displaced family ‘’ .
The IRCS added ‘’ the displaced families distributed among Al-Khazer camps north of Mosul which shelters (1100) displaced people and Zulaykan camp located at Shekhan district in Duhok governorate which also shelters (520) people, adding to Jada’a camp at Al-Qayarah town which shelters (459) displaced people” .
The statement noted ‘’ the IRCS teams took all the necessary arrangements to shelter the displaced people and contain the displacement crisis through our relief teams who are working (24) hours a day in receiving the displaced families adding to prepare the appropriate place to shelter them also provide the relief assistance to them ‘’ .
he IRCS also added ‘’ the IRCS teams have distributed more than (500) ready food ration in addition to provide water and juices to the displaced families adding to distribute relief materials included blankets and other essential materials that the displaced families needs, also the IRCS teams have provided health services, first aid, treatments and psychosocial support lectures to more than (200) displaced people to Al-Khazer and Zulaykan camps .
Our relief teams is still continuous in receiving the displaced families and provide the relief assistance to them, it is expected that displacement of a number of families in the coming days .
