The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has announced the displacement of 450 people from the airport area which is located at the west side of Mosul city( right coast) to Jada camp in Qayarah district, after the security forces have provided safe access for the families .
” More than 450 people have been received during the past 24 hours from the airport area to Jada camp in Qayarah which shelters more than 3000 displaced till now” said Mr. Haider Qassim the head of Salahuldin relief center in the Iraqi Red Crescent .
Qassim added that the IRCS teams have distributed fast food meals, adding to distribute food and relief materials, the teams have also provided some special needs for the displaced families .
Qassim has noted that the IRCS teams have prepared amounts of food and relief materials, in addition to the human resources, in order to respond quickly for the relief operations of the displaced people and shelter them, they also have prepared a strategic stock to relief more than 250 thousand people .
