Iraqi Red Crescent in Wasit governorate provides relief and food assistance by air for the besieged families by the torrents in the border areas with Iran.
The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has provided food and relief assistance for the besieged families by the torrents that hit the border areas with Iran specifically in Badra and Gassan areas.
The IRCS has reported” the IRCS teams in Wasit branch with the support of the Air Force have been managed to deliver food and relief assistance to more than 20 families besieged by the torrents”.
The IRCS teams have also raised awareness between the families to take some precautionary measures and directed them to the highlands to avoid floods, note that the border areas with Iran are always suffering from floods because it is considered as a low areas.
