The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed relief aid to more than 1,800 families who have returned to their areas of residence in the old city of Mosul.
“The IRCS`s teams have distributed relief aid such as kitchen and towels to 1820 families who have returned to their areas of residence in( Ras al-Kor, Daka Baraka, Prophet Jarzis, Bab Laksh and Bab Jadeed) in the right side of the city of Mosul, adding to distribute more than (20) food parcels for the poor families in the area of Nabi Younis”, said Mr.Hyder Qassim the relief official of the IRCS in Nineveh governorate.
Qassim has added that the relief teams of the IRCS have prepared the right side of Mosul with more than 350,000 liters of potable water every day, which is transferred by water tanker trucks from the station of AlGazlani and distributed to 63 reservoirs installed in the neighborhoods of the old city.
Qassim has also continued that the IRCS`s health teams have continued to receive and provide medical and treatment services at Al-Mansour Medical Center through the mobile medical clinics equipped with specialized medical staff.
