The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has provided urgent relief and food aid for the families besieged by the heavy torrents in Zarbatia district in Wasit governorate, where the IRCS`s teams have cooperated with the air force to transport food parcels and relief items such as mattresses, blankets, and tents for the affected families by torrents, adding to relief the injured and evacuating the urgent conditions to the specialized medical centers.
The IRCS`s teams are continuing to trace for the besieged families in order to relieve and evacuate them to safe places if necessary and provide all the humanitarian assistance they need.
