The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has distributed relief and food aid for more than 1900 displaced families who are living in Alqadisia compound and the camps of Alalam and Shahama within Saladdin center.
” The IRCS`s teams have distributed relief and food aid to 1090 displaced families who are living in Alqadisia compound and 872 displaced families living in Alalam and AlShahama camps, the assistance includes two food parcels, two bags of rice weighing 25 kilos and two health set per family”, said Mr.Hyder Qassim the relief official of Saladdin center.
Qassim has added that the IRCS`s health teams are continuing to receive all the patient cases in the medical centers inside the camps, in addition to the units of the mobile medical centers have provided the medical and therapeutical services and psychosocial support for the displaced families.
The IRCS in cooperation with its partners in the International Movement of Red Cross and Red Crescent is still continuing to provide the humanitarian aid for the IDPs in the camps until they secure their return to their areas of residence.
