The General Secretariat of the Arab Red Cross and Red Crescent Organization mourns the victims of the painful ferry of Mosul, the organization extends its sincere condolences to all the victims’ families.
In a press statement issued after this painful disaster, the organization extended its condolences to the Iraqi government, the Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) (one of the components of the active Arab Organization), the victims’ families, the wounded and all the Iraqi people.
In the same context, the organization praised in its statement the urgent response of the IRCS, which was present at the time of the disaster, continuing the humanitarian work 24 hours a day , and commended the efforts of the task forces in the IRCS secretariat, members, volunteers who are present during emergencies to provide psychosocial assistance and support to the injured and their families, also the ARCO organization has praised  the efforts of all concerned parties that have been assigned to help in this painful incident to all.
