The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) has organized a meeting between a number of representatives of the International  Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement in order to discuss the developments on the spread of Coronavirus  and its implications on the Iraqi situation.
The IRCS has reported in a statement, “The IRCS has hosted through a television network, the Vice President of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent, the President of Chinese Red Cross and the Chinese Ambassador in Iraq, the representative of the International Committee of the Red Cross from Geneva and the head of the International Federation of Mission in Iraq and the head of the ICRC mission in Iraq,”.
The statement has added,” The meeting includes  the discussion of cooperation mechanisms and coordination between the ICRC components  and support Iraq in efforts to face Coronavirus .”
The statement has indicated that the above- mentioned groups have discussed the international movement policies in facing Coronavirus and support the IRCS.
