The Iraqi Red Crescent Society (IRCS) implemented psychosocial support and a number of health activities for displaced children and women in Karbala governorate. As the staff of the branch forms (health teams) in order to provide psychosocial support and health services for Communicable Diseases to help the displaced families.
In which lectures about health awareness been given by specialists in the field of mental health support for children and women of displaced families in a number of hotels in the city, and the cities of Hussein and Abbas (peace be upon them) visitors while the lectures included healthy issues regarding the Communicable Diseases which the displaced people suffered from, especially children, as well as to guide displaced women about hygiene and personal and general cleanliness adding to the ways of preventing disease.
The program also included a various events in the field of psychosocial support for children, competitions, draw events and other different games, as the program seeks to alleviate the effects of disaster, displacement and psychosocial problems faced by the displaced people.
